Overview of admission to Northern Border University

Admission to Northern Border University is processed through the Unified National Admission Platform for Higher Education institutions launched by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to Standardize and streamline admission procedures across universities and colleges nationwide.

Undergraduates Admission Requirements

1. The applicant must be a Saudi National. Children of a Saudi mother are eligible. a non Saudi wife of a Saudi citizen who has children with him is also eligible.
2. The applicant must be of good conduct.
3. The applicant must hold a general secondary education certificate or equivalent from inside or outside the kingdom.
4. Applicants employed by any public or private sector has to obtain their employer's approval to study.
5. The applicant must not be currently enrolled in another university.
6. The applicant must be medically fit.
7. The applicant must successfully pass any test or interview required by the university council.
8. The applicant must not have been dismissed from Northern Border University or any other University.
9. Applicants who obtained the secondary certificate outside the Kingdom must have their documents attested by the Saudi Cultural Mission in the country of graduation or obtain equivalency from the Ministry of Education.
10. Applicants with a secondary certificate from outside the Kingdom are subject to the same admission conditions applied to their counterparts graduation from within the Kingdom.

For Saudi applicants Male/Female no Documents are required to be uploaded, all data is retrieved automatically from within the Ministry of Education's NOOR system and from the Education & Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC) - QIYAS.
